In the thornbush that we have left behind our house, many wild animals find refuge from the increasing destruction of the environment . One of them is the sengi or elephant shrew. A small, mouse-like animal with a long snout that resembles a shrew. However, this animal is not related to mice or shrews, but rather to elephants and manatees!
This cute little creature clears its own paths through the undergrowth, on which it runs back and forth at lightning speed to search for food or to hide from predators. A male and his female occupy a territory, the size of which can vary depending on the availability of food.
We want to offer as many wild animals as possible a refuge on our farm because we want to honor the Creator of all things in this way, by respecting His creatures and not recklessly destroying the environment.
