Every year we have the privilege of welcoming new volunteers to our farm. How many times have we heard the sentence: "This is a different universe!"
In fact, the plants, animals and people here on the farm are simply "different" from what you are used to or expect. It's not just us on the pilot farm and in the training center that are "different", our volunteers from Europe are "different" from the Tanzanians here, too. Here, for example, people only look each other briefly into their eyes, if at all, while in Austria that is a sign of respect. Bright colors, ornate fabrics, shine and glitter are loved here, while in Austria colors and decorations are used with restraint.
We see these differences as a great gift. This way, two different cultures get the chance to learn from each other and teach each other something new and energizing. Honestly, we have often heard the sentence: "I changed a lot during my assignment here in Tanzania". Different cultures have great potential to generate new energy for each other.
Let's help that this happens much more and that good, healing, positive energy increase on our earth.
