Volunteer house

Hi there, today I want to introduce you to our amazing volunteer house. It has been a home for me for the last 8 months. Together with 3 other volunteers we made this house our home. We did a lot of work since we arrived here. We replaced the old water pipes, painted some of the rooms inside(and drew some nice pictures on the wall), cleared up our garden, planted over 60 trees, cut the grass many times, made some changes in the house-electric and painted the whole house in red. Our neighbours love the colour and always smile when they pass by.

We also built an amazing plateau on top of our house. You climb up only 2 ladders to to enjoy the beautiful nature around the house. The best time for this is for sure at sunrise or sunset! We also bought a mosquito net to be able to spend the night up there. Soon we want to build a new kitchen and to renovate our bathroom.

All in all it’s a great place to invite friends, co-workers and guests and have food and fun together.
