Our Tree nursery

In the fall of 2017, I traveled to Africa for the first time in my life for 2 weeks to visit Alice and Martin Tlustos in Tanzania. When I visited the project site, Alice thought that maybe a tree nursery would be good. So I started planning one. The area where it was to go was not only dry and dead, but scrub with big thorns was growing and it was 2 meters high. It was unimaginable that a tree nursery, with many small trees, would later be located here. A year later, I flew again to Tanzania. This time for 3 months to start the construction of the tree nursery. Angry at God, I boarded the plane at the airport in Vienna. In this area it was hot, dry and the landscape didn't look much more alive than a year ago. In those 3 months, I not only started to build the nursery, but God called me to Tanzania in a mud hut in the village to continue to build this nursery. I discussed with God. I wrestled with God. I absolutely did not want to go to Africa. So, in January 2020, I reluctantly traveled to Tanzania as a missionary and started to continue building the nursery. Now, 1 year, 5 rabies vaccinations, a dislocated foot and a night in an African hospital later, God has totally changed my heart. The love that Jesus has for these people here, He has now placed on my heart. I just had to get involved with what God had in store for me. In the meantime, we have propagated about 8,000 plants, built a tower for the water tank and optimized the shade for the small trees. And God gives me not only success, but also joy in being here and much love for the people here. I am already very curious for which nursery this was the beginning and what else God has planned here.
