Tilapia

40 little Tilapia babies have been swimming around happily in their new home since April. Tilapias belong to the perch family and are edible fish that weigh over one kg. They are very uncomplicated in terms of nutrition and water quality and therefore ideally suited for an aquaponic system. In a few months, the fish will reach their end weight and then serve as food. But the system should be more than just a supplier of fish and vegetables. We want to bring people closer to God and the aquaponics project should serve as a contact point.
