Tiger

Last week, we got a new herding dog for our small cattle herd. He's still small and sweet, but judging by his paws, he’s going to grow much bigger. He's a typical local village dog (which means he has Basenji in him, essentially just a native African village dog), and his name is Tiger (pronounced Taiga). He already enthusiastically follows the cows when they go to the pasture (unless he's being carried by the herder. The goal is for him to help the herder with herding, but more importantly, to help guard the cattle—especially at night.
