Rain

In mid-November the rainy season begins in central Tanzania and every year we eagerly wait for the rain. We are happy about the precious water, because it irrigates our fields and is the basis of life for all plants, animals but also humans. When the rain comes, the desert-like, dry area changes into lush green and everything around us sprouts and thrives.

We are very happy that the butterflies, birds and bees have come back to our farm. After the first two years of farming without all these creatures, nature is coming back and everything around us is living and thriving.
