Merry Christmas
These words perfectly describe the Christmas celebration at Care of Creation Tanzania. Everyone began the day together at 8:00 a.m. at the Anglican Church in the village, where Care of Creation Tanzania led the service. Through singing hymns, praying, reading Bible passages, and delivering a sermon, we had the opportunity to honor Jesus and serve the members of the Anglican Church.
It was a beautiful time of fellowship, with Jesus truly at the center! Afterward, back on the farm, there was a feast for all the workers and some guests, featuring a variety of food, drinks, and desserts including cake and ice cream. It was a true joy!
To help digest the meal, there was a small dance party where many workers danced freely to music. The sense of community was a key focus, and everyone who wanted to join was welcomed.
Later, some workers shared what they were grateful to God for this year, followed by the giving of Christmas gifts. Each person received a new red work shirt and a hat, which were proudly worn immediately, as seen in the photo above.
The celebration concluded with a photo presentation showcasing pictures from the past years. This highlighted the growth of the work and the employees, providing yet another reason to thank God for what He has done, is currently doing, and plans to do in the future!
