For almost a year now, the younger generation here on the farm has also had the opportunity to get to know God's creation and God's love for every human being better. At the beginning of this calendar year, a Day Care Center was opened for the children of the workers. As a result, children aged 3 - 6 are now cared for, taught and encouraged in their development by Flora, a woman from Tanzania with a bachelor's degree in education, and Margreth, the assistant. Sarah, (from Austria) who is trained as an elementary and after-school teacher, is currently also supporting the group.
The 7 children learn the basics for school and their everyday lives by strengthening and teaching them in the areas of mathematics, writing, sport & health, art & design, social relationships and Christian values. There is also a strong focus on communication, as the entire Day Care Center is run in English and the children learn English step by step.
Above all, however, the aim is for the children to get to know Jesus more deeply, to experience a part of his love and at the same time to learn how important it is to care for his creation. This happens through play, teaching, stories, eating and drinking and living together :)
